Bursary Application

We are giving nine Lucky Leaving Certificate Pupils –one pupil from each of our Common Bond Schools, a once off Bursary of €1500 towards their diploma/Degree in a third level Institution or full time PLC. Fill in your details below to be entered into the draw.


The Rules

The Bursary will be a once off payment of €1,500 for one pupil in your school, payable in two installments (e.g September and January) at the discretion of the Credit Union. Payment of the Bursary is dependant on the student continuing their education in a Third Level Institution or through a full time PLC and production of satisfactory evidence to that effect.

Students must attend any of the following Secondary Schools in our common bond area:  Colaiste na Coiribe, Colaiste Iognaid, Dominican College, Our Lady’s College, St. Mary’s College, St. Enda’s College, Salerno, St. Joseph’s College (The Bish) & St.Pauls Oughterard.

A draw will be made in St. Anthony’s & Claddagh Credit Union on the 1st of August for 5 finalists from each school. Each finalist will be requested to attend our Student Information Evening in August (date to be decided) where the final draw will be made. All finalists must attend or have a representative attend the evening in order to be included in the final draw.

A Presentation will be made to the winning Student and photographs/video will be taken at this occasion and published in local newspapers, social media, our website and also for internal publication.
